Two-Way Bass Reflex Bookshelf Speaker System
The Yamaha NS-333 bookshelf speaker has been created exclusively for home theatre applications. It has a bass-reflex design that can be utilized for main or surround channels and also incorporates a 5” Polymer-Injected Mica Diaphragm (PMD) cone woofer and a 1” aluminum dome tweeter, which relies on Yamaha’s proprietary waveguide horn to improve imaging.
Internally wired with Monster Cable
Yamaha promises optimum sound quality by internally wiring some of the components with Monster Cable™, which ensures a clean and clear signal from the crossover network to the speaker driver. The speaker driver is magnetically shielded, and hence it can be placed on a Television or a video monitor without compromising the picture quality via stray magnetic fields.

Movie theatres are designed to use sound-absorbing materials on walls and ceilings to contain the sound within the theatre and ensure that the sound reaching you is the one produced by the speakers instead of the wave that is reflected off the walls. Yamaha has come up with waveguides that are effective in reducing reflected sound and increasing the proportion of directly generated sound waves reaching you. What you finally hear is a clear and precise version of the sound that is guided by direction.
Enhanced performance by an Elliptical Form Cabinet & New Grill design
The EF series speakers come enclosed in an Elliptical Form cabinet with a high gloss black piano finish, which aids in a sturdy framework with reduced sound diffraction. The latest grill design and grill cloth make for an attractive and acoustically transparent protective cover for the drivers.
