Ooberpad brings you the Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2, a 2-Way Bass Reflex bookshelf speaker that can deliver up to 120 Watts of output. Improving on its award-winning predecessor, the Debut B5.2 sets a higher standard and delivers an amazing performance from a compact build size.

With a frequency response between 46Hz-35000Hz, the B5.2 bookshelf speaker incorporates a custom-engineered 5.25″ mid-bass driver and a 1″ cloth dome tweeter. Delivering a sensitivity of 86db @2.83v/1m, the compact B5.2 carries forward the legacy left behind by the award-winning original Debut B5 bookshelf speaker.

Housed in a thick MDF cabinet with a classy black ash vinyl finish and larger and internally braced for greater stiffness and strength to reduce cabinet vibrations. Sporting a pragmatic design thought, the bass ports of the B5.2 are moved to the front of the cabinet, allowing placement against walls or in bookshelves without any compromise in sonic performance. You can use this bookshelf speaker for a stereo vinyl setup or part of a multichannel surround system by pairing it with other speakers from the Elac Debut 2.0 series.

Ultra-wide frequency tweeter & wide-dispersion waveguide

The Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 incorporates a 1″ cloth dome tweeter. The innovative and revised silk-dome tweeter sports a wide-roll surround that reproduces up to 35,000 Hz for a crisp and clear high-frequency response. The updated waveguide improves directivity control and reduces the diffraction to deliver an ultra-wide frequency response.

Robust cabinets for longevity and easy placement

The B5.2 is housed in a thick MDF cabinet with a luxurious black ash vinyl finish. Additionally, it features larger internal braces for greater stiffness and strength. The result is greatly reduced cabinet vibrations, which cause unwanted colouration and distortion to the speaker’s tone. The bass ports of the B5.2 are located on the front of the cabinet, allowing placement against walls or in bookshelves without any trade-off in sonic clarity.
