Slot port for bass control

Thanks to its long-throw driver, the AE100² delivers a deep, powerful sound for its size. Careful engineering ensures that the bass never becomes too much, however. A slot-shaped duct at the rear controls airflow, reducing turbulence for a smooth and tight bass.

Harmonious response

Inspired by Acoustic Energy’s 500 series, the AE100² uses intersecting drive units. By mounting the two drivers closer together, the mid-range blends seamlessly with the treble, helping to give a more focused and cohesive sound.
