Current Feedback Amplifier
The Current Feedback Amplifier technology provides wide-bandwidth and high-speed sound reproduction. In combination with the high current power supply, the PM6007’s amplifier holds a large energy reserve to easily drive even the most demanding speakers. An advanced thermal compensation avoids memory distortion for clean amplification under any circumstances.

Toroidal Transformer
A Toroidal Transformer has several advantages over a normal EI core transformer. The highly efficient design delivers more power compared to the same size EI core transformer. In addition, the shape of the Toroidal Transformer delivers low electromagnetic radiation and mechanical vibration for better sound quality.

The PM6007 features a new Hi-Res D/A conversion. It is equipped with a reference-class AK4490 D/A converter, which provides up to 192-kHz/24-bit resolution for optimum fidelity with your Hi-Res audio file types.
High Current Power Supply
The power supply supports high current, high speed Shottky Barrier Diodes and high current storage capacitors fed by a Toroidal Transformer that together provide wide dynamic range and low impedance drive capability.
Expanded Connectivity for Digital Inputs (2 Optical, 1 Coax) with Hi-Res Audio Support
One Coaxial digital and two Optical digital inputs are now available to connect digital devices and play back Hi-Res audio (up to 192-kHz/24-bit PCM) through the PM6007’s advanced audio circuitry. The complete digital section is fully shielded by an extra metal housing unit to ensure that the digital stage does not affect the analogue signal.
Digital Filter for Optical/Coaxial input
The PM6007 introduces a new digital filter for Optical and Coaxial inputs. This two-mode filter (Filter1/Filter2) allows optimised reproduction of digital music content using the new AK4490 D/A converter to your taste. Filter 1 is a slow roll-off preset that improves deep stereo imaging, and Filter 2 is a sharp roll-off filter for more precise imaging reproduction.
Subwoofer Output
The PM6007 supports an optional external subwoofer with a fixed low pass cut off frequency at 150Hz. Enjoy accurate bass with no audible peaks or dips, no matter where you place your subwoofer.
Improved Integrated Phono Input
Marantz integrated amplifiers have historically featured high-quality phono stages. The PM6007 remains faithful to that legacy, leveraging the newly designed circuit introduced with the PM7000N — one that integrates a FET (field-effect transistors) in the input stage. This technology delivers high input impedance, eliminates the need for AC coupling capacitors, simplifies the signal path, and lowers distortion and noise, which vastly improves the overall signal purity.

Marantz HDAM Technology
Marantz developed its own discrete circuit boards to replace standard ICs. These HDAMs consist of discrete surface-mount components with short mirror-image L/R signal paths. These devices do exactly the same thing as the Op-Amps but outperform the regular IC Op-amps dramatically in terms of the Slew Rate and reduced noise level, resulting in more dynamic, accurate and detailed sound. In the CD6007, the proprietary HDAM-SA2 circuit improves on its previous HDAM module for a more stable power supply. The idling current stability is less influenced by power transistor temperatures to maintain sound performance even at high-level output.

The audio power supply employs high-speed, high-current Schottky Barrier Diodes and high-value storage capacitors. The size of the power supply capacitors has been increased to former models by 120% for improved current stability and reduced AC noise during high-demanding listening sessions.
High Slew Rate Op-Amp + HDAM-SA2
The CD6007 offers an upgraded and redesigned headphone amplifier section. It inherits the exclusive Marantz HDAM-SA2 circuit with three gain settings (Low/Mid/High) for a perfect match with almost any brand of headphones for an optimal solo listening experience.
Plays Hi-Res Audio
The CD6007 can playback MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF (up to 192-kHz/24-bit) and DSD (up to 5.6MHz) files from a connected USB storage device.
