With a new output and DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the PM6007 sounds better than ever. Designed for lower distortion and a faster, cleaner sound, the latest Marantz amp features Marantz’s bespoke HDAM-SA3 technology. HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) circuits replace basic op-amps, massively outperforming them. They promote lower noise for a more precise, detailed, and dynamic sound – meaning you get to hear your music just as the artist intended.

Fed by a toroidal power transformer, Schottky barrier diodes provide a high current supply. This means you get effortless power and punchy dynamics. Whether you’re into Classical, stadium rock, dance, or movie soundtracks, the PM6007 easily delivers an immersive, room-filling sound.

Digital inputs with selectable filter

Twin opticals join a coaxial input, giving you a total of three digital inputs – perfect for your CD/DVD player, streamer, and TV. The new AK4490 DAC offers Hi-res compatibility – right up to 192 kHz/24bit. The PM6007 introduces new digital filters. Filters 1 and 2 tune the sound from digital components, giving enhanced depth or precision.

Connect your analogue sources – including a turntable

It isn’t just the digital processing that’s been improved. A revised phono pre-amp uses technology from the PM700N model, lowering distortion and noise. The result is greater clarity from your vinyl, with a purer, less veiled sound. Four line-level inputs and a recorder output complete the tally, giving you a total of eight audio inputs – easily enough for the most advanced systems.

New subwoofer output

Another new feature with the PM6007 amp is the dedicated subwoofer output. This lets you connect your choice of active subwoofer for even more powerful sound. As before, there are two sets of individually controlled speaker outputs, giving you the option of a set of speakers in another room.

Combined with the new DAC, a brand new two-mode filter lets you tune the CD player’s sound to suit your taste. Filter 1 enhances depth, whereas filter 2 gives a sharper, more precise sound.

At the front of the CD6007 is a Hi-res compatible USB interface. Connect your USB media storage device and play back a wide range of digital music files – making the most of the Marantz’s sophisticated digital technology. Improved cabinet for even lower distortion

At the heart of these revised speakers is a much-improved cabinet. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.

Revised drive units

With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cone is light, rigid, and helps give the 3020i’s their deep, punchy sound quality. The tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. With power and purity of sound at their heart, the 3020i’s are amongst the most dynamic sounding speakers in their class.

Big sound from a small speaker

With a larger diameter bass cone and increased cabinet volume, the Q Acoustics 3020i offers a more powerful sound than its little brother, the 3010i. Ideal for larger rooms and/or lovers of dance, rock, and full orchestral music, the 3020i brings greater dynamic realism, enhancing the feeling of ‘being there’.
