It features a 6.5″ polypropylene woofer paired with a 1″ silk dome tweeter mounted on a Tractrix® horn for clear, efficient high frequencies. Thanks to Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT), both the woofer and tweeter can be angled (up to ±15°) to better target your listening position, helping maintain on-axis clarity even when installation locations aren’t ideal. Installation is made simpler via Klipsch’s SkyHook™ tool-free system, which automatically secures the speaker once inserted, reducing setup time. The bezel-free magnetic grille keeps the look clean and discreet (and is paintable to match your ceiling). With a sensitivity of 91 dB and moderate power requirements, the DS-160CDT fits nicely into home theater or distributed audio systems, especially for height or surround applications.
