For larger rooms, or for situations where you want a little more power from your overhead Dolby ATMOS or distributed audio system, the P4-C80 – with its 8in woofer – could be your saviour. Especially if you’re working in a tight space. The speaker will fit in cavities right down to 87mm deep, meaning you can keep the system totally consistent between rooms or hallways, even if the ceiling space varies at times. Fitting is a model of simplicity: put the frame in the hole, squeeze down the doglegs to secure it around the ceiling material, then just twist and lock the speaker into place. You don’t need tools, and you don’t even need two hands.

The P4-C80 uses the same materials and technologies that have made Dynaudio so legendary in the high-end audio business for decades. The woofer is made from MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer), a proprietary material we developed in the late 1970s and have used ever since. The tweeter is a soft-dome design – variations of which have appeared in some of our most awe-inspiring speakers. And it’s all been tuned and refined by the same people who made those speakers so great.

The final touches are just as easy as the installation itself. Paint the grille to match the room’s décor, then let it snap itself into perfect alignment with its built-in magnets.
