Denon DCD-A110 Anniversary Edition CD Player

The Denon DCD-A110 delivers detailed CD playback with Ultra AL32 Processing Plus waveform reproduction technology, creating a smoother waveform from the digital signal. The playback is highly detailed thanks to this process, with depth and expression just as the original sound.

The disc drive design contains a high-class Suppress Vibration Hybrid mechanism to give stability enabling the disc to be read with the utmost accuracy. The CD player’s low centre of gravity helps to dampen vibrations inside the unit when the disc is spinning. By eliminating these vibrations, any disc can be read easily with optimum accuracy of the digital signal. With short signal paths and miniaturised circuits, the DCD-A110 ensures absolute signal accuracy with minimum noise.

For accurate, synchronised digital circuits, the DAC master clock design uses the DAC as the master when supplied with clock signals. With both these components close together, jitter is suppressed and the DAC performs with optimum precision. A quad DAC configuration, using two PCM1795 chips on both the left and right channels, improves the DAC’s data handling for an outstanding audio performance. High quality components allow the DCD-A110 to perform with a low noise floor and improved signal-to-noise ratio for a transparent sound with great spatial expression. The DCD-A110 is supplied with both analogue and digital outputs, for connecting straight to an amplifier, or using the digital outputs to an external DAC.

With short signal paths and a straight and simple design philosophy, the DCD-A110 produces a clean and detailed sound for faithful reproduction of the original source. Less interference between left and right channels, as well as less noise is achieved.
