Arete SB 150w/ch – 2.0 Channel Power Amplifier

The Arete SB150 delivers a robust 150W per channel of clean, dynamic power—more than enough to drive even the most demanding speakers with ease. This amplifier is designed to handle the full intensity of orchestral crescendos, offering impressive headroom and control.

An integrated protection circuit ensures no DC components reach the output, maintaining a residual voltage of under 1mV. To minimize crosstalk and signal interference, the stereo channels are completely isolated after the transformer. Each channel’s power stage is independently buffered through high-grade audio capacitors, providing a total capacitance of 120,000 µF, backed by a custom-built 1 KVA toroidal transformer.

All you need is a DAC / streamer dac connect it to this amp, and you’re good to go !!

As a high-gain amplifier, the SB150 can be effortlessly paired with a DAC that has volume control—even compact models like the SMSL Sanskrit 10Mk2 are sufficient to run it effectively.

Part of the Transudio series, the Arete SB150 is commissioned by SoundFoundations and custom-built with specific power supply enhancements tailored for the Indian market.
