AV Shack brings you TEAC TN-400BT – Turntable with Phono Stage, Bluetooth & USB

TEAC TN-400BT is the first standalone turntable from TEAC’s range of analogue turntables which incorporates Bluetooth capability. Simplify music playback by wirelessly streaming records in high-quality to Bluetooth-enabled headphones and speakers.  

Phono EQ Amp

The onboard phono EQ amplifier, which is designed to support moving magnet cartridges such as the supplied Audio Technica AT-95E, provides a simple way to connect the turntable to hi-fi amplifiers and audio systems that lack turntable inputs.  The upgraded subsonic filter deters warped records from generating low quality, and unpredictable low bass frequencies.

Phono Stage

A USB output (16-bit/48kHz)is featured in the phono stage for that enables you to digitally archive onto your PC however, the feature that stands out the most is the Bluetooth capabilities. The high-quality aptX and AAC codecs allow you to enjoy enhanced audio when paired with speakers and headphones that support Bluetooth aptX.

Low Resistance

The TEAC TN-400BT has the capability to play at 33, 48 and 78prm on a die-cast aluminium platter. A re-developed low-resistance spindle reduces mechanical friction and when combines with the brass bearing and the precision die-cast aluminium platter, aids in maintaining an extremely sturdy rotational speed.

S-Shape Tonearm

The tonearm has a static S-shape to enable the most accurate tracking possible during audio playback. The universal-type headshell, lets you change the cartridge quickly and with ease.  The turntable speeds are the standard 3 used universally – including 78rpm. These are supported and the unit is designed so that switching between them is a breeze, simply turn the dial: no unnecessary strenuous belt-changing.

In order to distinguish the new Bluetooth-equipped model, TEAC is offering it in four superb new matt finishes – white, silver and brown – as well as a beautiful walnut finish for traditionalists. Machined aluminium control nobs provide the perfect finishing touch to an elegant package!
