High quality belt drive deck
Every aspect of the Teac TN-3B’s construction is designed and built to perform. The belt driven, die-cast aluminium platter uses direct outer belt drive for a larger contact area. This helps give you a smooth and steady sound. A high-torque motor offers stable and consistent speed for solid and dynamic audio.

Advanced isolation
Vibration and the attempt to quell it is a major issue with any turntable. The Teac TN-3B minimises the harmful effects of distortion through vibration with a multi-layered defence. Machined aluminium feet with rubber isolators attach to a high-density MDF plinth for high resistance to acoustic feedback. The bottom panel also features a honeycomb pressing, further increasing the turntable’s rigidity and resistance to vibration.

Impressive tonearm
Designed by tonearm experts SAEC, the knife-edge arm delivers superb performance for a deck at this price. Usually only found in far more expensive designs, the knife-edge, pivot-point bearing gives the tonearm much greater agility. This helps in tracking the record grooves more accurately, meaning you hear more of the music, more of the time. With adjustable tracking and anti-skating, you can also easily add your choice of cartridge when it’s time to upgrade.

Latest Audio Technica cartridge
This Teac also benefits from being fitted with the latest Audio Technica cartridge. Featuring an elliptical stylus, the Audio Technica AT-VM95E is a great upgrade over standard cartridges. Compared to more basic conical cartridges, the elliptical stylus on the VM95E literally gets deeper into the groove – pulling out more music.

Built-in phono stage and USB connectivity
With a built-in phono stage, this Teac turntable can be plugged into any amp or AV receiver with standard phono inputs. Added to this, a USB output allows you to copy records straight on to your computer’s hard drive, from where it’s easy to download the music onto your MP3 player or stream to your compatible hi-fi.

It’s not just the sound that’s sleek and glossy, the TN-3B matches the sound with its smooth finish. Available in the piano black, white or cherry, the multi-layer, lacquer finish stands out from the crowd.
