ELAC Solano Floorstanding Speakers – FS287

The ELAC Solano FS287 is a 2½-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker that combines sophisticated driver technology and refined German craft to deliver a wide and incisive soundstage. It uses dual 150 mm Aluminum-Sandwich (AS) woofers and the acclaimed JET 5 Air Motion Transformer tweeter, giving it a frequency response from approximately 30 Hz to 50 kHz. Elac+2AV Junction+2 With a sensitivity of 87 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 Ω (minimum ~3.5 Ω), ELAC recommends an amplifier power range of about 40-300 W per channel. AV Junction+1 The cabinet measures about 985 mm in height, 260 mm wide, and 300 mm deep, weighing around 19 kg each. Elac+1 Finished in high-gloss black or white, with aluminum baskets and a down-firing port integrated in the base, the FS287 stands out visually as well as acoustically. It’s particularly suited for listeners seeking high-fidelity sound performance in a moderately sized room without going to the extreme size of large towers.
