XL Crocodile series Banana Plugs (4 Pieces)

The XL Crocodile series Banana plugs are different from the others; they feature a high-quality, high-conductivity bronze alloy that offers an all-round contact due to its inherent self-retaining property ( similar to spring steel ).

This is known as the XL plug since it allows for very thick copper cables to be accommodated up to 8mm in diameter or 6 AWG. It also accepts dual 12awg wires, hence it is useful in bi-wiring situations

The contact material is 22k gold-plated and pressure moulded inside an insulating transparent shell that forms the body of this plug, which in turn also holds the tightening screws. Another notable feature is that the bodies of these banana plugs are now insulators and cannot conduct into each other, even when they touch

The XL series banana plugs have a dual grub hex screw facility to securely secure thick speaker cables.

The Banana plugs are sold with colour-coded red and black rings for easy identification for connecting to the respective colour binding posts

Note: We advise the above plugs mainly for those audiophiles having thick speaker cables or who are biwiring and who need a larger entry hole size.

For our friends having regular single 12 AWG or thinner cables, the Carbon and VB power series might be more suitable due to their smaller hole size, which may match better with thinner cables
