TAGA Harmony, a European manufacturer of globally renowned, award-winning speakers and audio electronics, today brings its latest offering, TAV-607F, TAV-C, and TAV-S, the first models of the whole new Audio-Video series. The new line is not only a remodelled design of the old series but a fresh new opening of the Audio-Video series in terms of performance and aesthetics, which will strengthen its position as speakers with one of the highest value-to-price ratios in the industry! Three speaker models have been included in the series: TAV-607F floor standing, TAV-C centre, and TAV-S surround loudspeaker. When designing the TAV-607F and TAV-C / TAV-S, Taga’s main aim was to build aesthetically appealing speakers with a stellar sound, which would be offered at budget prices, which is a hallmark of the Audio-Video series. As always, Taga’s key focus was on intensive listening tests and sound recalibrations rather than on building perfect specifications on paper because music and generally sound usually resonates with emotions, feelings, and passion. Consequently, it led to the origin of speakers that offer deep, perfectly controlled and defined bass, smooth and rich midrange,e and eye-catching, detailed and crystal clear highs, as well as very open and airy soundstage.

Meticulously Crafted For Stellar Sound

TAV-607F has a distinctive edge with the detailed and rich sound produced by Taga’s silk dome tweeter, open and spontaneous midrange performance thanks to a new 6.5-inch midrange driver coupled with deep and lifelike bass generated by dual 6.5-inch woofers. The enclosure is fortified by using additional internal bracing, a thicker front MDF baffle wall (increased from 15 mm to 21 mm), and enhanced internal volume (the enclosure depth has grown from 25 cm to 28 cm). The steep enclosure top is leaned at around 4 degrees from the front to the rear to further attenuate unwanted resonances and turbulence.

New 6.5” (165 mm) Midrange Driver and Upgraded Dual 6.5” (165 mm) Woofer Drivers

A bigger, more rigid and ultra-light polypropylene cone with elastic rubber suspension provides swift movement and smooth, rich and very natural midrange frequency response. The heavy-duty voice coil and Φ80 magnet can withstand high temperatures and power inputs. The flat dust cap supports airflow and smoothens the frequency response.

Ultra-light polypropylene cone with elastic rubber suspension, a 90 magnet structure, heavy-duty voice coil and coil former copped with more rigid driver chassis are built to withstand higher power handling and longer operation time without increasing driver temperature and as a result to generate a deeper, more musical and precise bass response.

Sturdy New Feet with Spikes

The feet are exceptionally rigid and thick, providing almost perfect isolation of speakers from the floor and levelling up the transparency of sound as well as producing better definition and control for the bass. Functionally sophisticated and discreet feet design is based on the feet known from the premium Platinum v.3 series. They level up the elegance of the TAV loudspeakers. The design allows for interchangeably using the feet with spikes or only the spikes.

Nuanced and Rich High Frequencies

TAV-C, with its detailed and rich high frequencies coupled with open and natural midrange, is ideal for performing movie soundtracks and multichannel music with lifelike dynamics and stunning clarity. TAV-S creates a surround sound for movie soundtracks and multichannel music, which is natural, multidimensional, and of high dynamics.

Upgraded 4” (102 mm) Bass-midrange Driver

Ultra-light polypropylene cone with elastic rubber suspension provides fast movement and smooth, rich, and very natural midrange frequency response as well as generating deep, musical bass. The heavy-duty voice coil and 70 magnet can stand high temperatures and power inputs. The flat dust cap supports airflow and smoothens the frequency response. Factory wall mounts render the ability for a quick and hassle-free installation on walls or other structures. 

2nd generation TWG-I tweeter faceplate  (Taga WaveGuide)

Specialized horn-like design of the tweeter’s faceplate utilizing concave diffusers assists with equal and flat dispersion of sound in and off the axis of the driver. In the newest edition, the shape and depth have been redesigned to facilitate better flow of sound stream and even wider dispersion, which helps to build a more three-dimensional and natural soundstage. Cutting down the number of components means better structural rigidity, barely perceptible distortion,s and resonances.
