  1. Namaste. I purchased this cable for my Audiotechnica ATH-M50X studio monitoring headphones. My use is daily and occasional sound mixing and such. The daily use OEM/stock/audiotechnica cable is an unbalanced 2.5 TRS to 3.5 TRS. I needed a good quality, balanced cable for my AMP and DACs. Made a 2.5 TRRS to individually connecting cable to each headphone, using this Mogami 2549 Neglex Gold Series Balanced Cable. I use this with my Fiio BTR 3K and Fiio BTR 5 2021 on a daily basis. The difference is NIGHT and DAY. The bass and vocals are much clearer and well pronounced now, along with very crisp high notes. Feels like I purchased a muc,h much higher-priced pair of headphones all of a sudden.

    Prior to this cable, I used the extra cable from Audio-Technica’s extra cables to make a balanced cable. But they used to have hissing noises and much lower volume, given less shielding and a smaller gauge of that cable. These just changed the game and leveled up everything to awesome studio monitoring levels for me. I am happy to buy these again, or the upgraded Pro Series of the same for my next pair of headphones or mics.
