Massdrop HiFiMAN HE-350

An old-time fave of many audiophiles is some of the early headphones released by HiFiMAN. The HE-300s quickly became a fan favorite thanks to their slightly warm sound signature, highlighted by clear mids and highs. However, audiophiles often complained that the build was not very comfortable, stating that the ear cushions weren’t very soft, and the cables were not very flexible.

Massdrop HiFiMAN HE-350 was built to rectify those issues. The open-back headphones feature a floating headband that feels lighter and more comfortable, allowing for long listening sessions. The velour ear cups are soft and prevent the wearer’s ears from overheating. The connectors and plugs are also of a sturdier and more flexible build, while the black colorway makes for a more universal feel. When it comes to sound, the HE-350 has been optimized with 50mm dynamic drivers to provide a more neutral sound signature with less distortion and better detail. The headphones resonate in a frequency response range of 20 to 20,000 Hertz with an impedance of 19 ohms.
