Description

Building on the success of the highly acclaimed Planet L, Elipson is introducing a miniature version of this iconic spherical model: the Planet M.

Although more compact, the Planet M features a 10 cm driver and, accordingly, a sealed enclosure. Such small drivers weren’t designed to deliver deep bass, as the choice has been made to exclusively restitute the upper bass register (down to 90 Hz). The use of a subwoofer is highly recommended, such as the Elipson Planet Sub, specially developed for this purpose.

The spherical enclosure offers the undeniable advantage of eliminating resonance while allowing the speaker to express itself in optimal conditions. Its coaxial structure promotes a particularly precise and enveloping sound stage. The silk dome tweeter is very smooth and provides the highlighting required for good depth, without ever being intrusive. Sounds are neutral and silky. The finish is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful lacquered effect and a metal grill.

The Planet M are indisputably elegant decorative objects, which you can showcase using the optional wall and ceiling mounts.
