Revel Architectural In-Ceiling C383 8" In-Ceiling Loudspeaker

The Revel C383 is a high-performance architectural in-ceiling speaker designed for both music and home theatre applications, where you want audiophile fidelity with minimal visual intrusion. It features an 8″ long-throw Micro-Ceramic Composite (MCC) cone woofer in a cast-polymer frame and a 1″ aluminum dome tweeter mounted in an integrated waveguide (and swivel pivot for aiming) for excellent on- and off-axis clarity. The crossover uses premium components to preserve accurate timbre and low distortion. With a nominal impedance of 8 Ω and a sensitivity around 87 dB, it’s specified for a recommended amplifier power range of 10-125 W. The mounting depth is a modest ~5.2″ (≈ 13.2 cm) and the cut-out diameter is roughly 9.6″ (≈ 24.4 cm) for the round grille, making it manageable for many ceiling cavities. The speaker comes with both round and square zero-bezel magnetic grilles so it can blend seamlessly into finished ceilings. Overall, it's a very strong choice when you want excellent sound quality from an in-ceiling installation without partitioning off wall space or using visible cabinet speakers.
