The DALI Oberon Grand Vokal is a full-range center speaker designed for larger rooms, offering powerful, clear, and undistorted dialogue, sound effects, and music. Equipped with two upgraded 7-inch SMC-based woofers, a large cabinet, and an oversized 29mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter, the Grand Vokal delivers a dynamic surround sound experience. Developed in response to the demand for a larger center speaker to complement the bigger floorstanding models in the OBERON series, it uses enhanced bass and midrange drivers from the Oberon 7. The Grand Vokal is ideal for home cinema systems based on the Oberon 7 or Oberon 9, providing full-range sound reproduction, high power handlin,g and minimal distortion for immersive audio.

Reproducing micro details
The woofer cones are a blend of fine-grain paper pulp reinforced with wood fibres, which creates a stiff, lightweight structure with low-resonance, low-loss, and controlled behaviour in perfect balance. Working in combination with a low-loss surround and suspension, each cone reproduces unfiltered micro details in the signal with amazing accuracy.
DALI’s patented SMC reduces distortion
Using Dali’s signature Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) in the OBERON VOKAL greatly reduces mechanical distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents. The result is a magnet motor system with a drastic reduction in third-order distortion that gives extended listening pleasure, a relaxed midrange, and a surprising amount of detail for its class.
Oversized soft dome
The 29 mm soft dome tweeter is built from material that weighs less than half that of most comparable products. As well as minimising voice-coil motion to eliminate distortion, the OBERON GRAND VOKAL tweeter delivers a faithful reproduction of the finest details effortlessly.
Rigid cabinet to eliminate resonance
The OBERON Grand Vokal cabinet is constructed from a high-density, CNC-machined MDF board coated in carefully selected high-grade vinyl. Solid bracings across the inside of the cabinet add extra reinforcement, which practically eliminates cabinet resonance that adds unwanted colouration to the sound.
