Ooberpad announces the availability of the Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) DB2D Powered Subwoofer, a premium-quality active subwoofer from the popular British audio brand. With 1000 Watts of power, dual opposed 10-inch Aerofoil drivers identical to those found in the flagship 800 D3, and an incredibly rigid cabinet that helps reduce distortion for deep, agile bass, the DB2D is the ideal subwoofer for whatever the use scenario.

It packs more than enough of a punch to excel at home cinema, but is agile and precise enough to bring depth to stereo recordings. As with all the new DB Series, the DB2D is incredibly simple to configure and use thanks to a dedicated mobile App for both iOS and Android devices. This mobile app incorporates a room EQ system that requires no separate microphone kit. Available in a gloss black sleek finish, B&W has packed a lot of new technology into a small and elegant package.

Balanced Drivers

The DB2D subwoofer uses two bass cones arranged in an opposed, balanced configuration that greatly reduces cabinet vibration and ensures a cleaner, more precise sound. The result is fantastic, coloration-free bass.

Dedicated Mobile App

App-based set-up means the DB2D is simple to configure and use. The App includes positioning guides and can be used to set up and control both output and audio preset modes. A Room EQ system allows you to optimise the subwoofer’s performance for your room automatically. No separate microphone kit is required, and the App is available for iOS and Android.

All-new Digital Pre-amplifier
