The MA9100HP receiver sits atop JBL’s value-packed MA-series home theater lineup. This receiver fits a modern décor aesthetic with a sleek profile, a subtle, adjustable LED underglow, and a full color, dimmable display. But, it’s not just a pretty face — the ‘9100 has 140 watts with two channels driven, and features a 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analog converter, which brings out the detail in your movies and music. With state-of-the-art 8K video compatibility, nine amplifier channels, and two subwoofer outputs, movie nights or game day gatherings will be festive and fun.

Surround sound and a little extra

This receiver can power a seven- or nine-channel Dolby Atmos or DTS X system for room-filling, 3D surround sound. Or you can take advantage of its nine channels of power to play music in multiple rooms — “Party” mode sends stereo sound from your main zone to speakers in a separate room.

Fine-tune your room

JBL offers its EZ Set EQ calibration software for a simple way to optimize sound for your room. Download the EZ Set EQ app (available for Android™ and iOS®) and follow the step-by-step instructions. The built-in microphone of your iOS device can be used for calibration, but for Android users, JBL recommends using a third-party microphone (sold separately) for best results. For listeners with particularly challenging rooms for acoustics, the MA9100HP is compatible with Dirac Live®, one of the finest room correction systems in the industry. It uses advanced software on your laptop to take precise sound measurements in your room. After the software completes the test, it then creates a personalized EQ correction curve for all your speakers, made to overcome your room’s specific acoustic challenges. A separate license and microphone are required.

Streaming music made easy

This receiver offers plenty of ways to get your music going. It supports streaming through Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Bluetooth®, Spotify Connect®, and TIDAL Connect. It supports UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) too, which lets you access high-res files stored on your home network. You can select streaming sources through the free JBL Premium Audio remote app (available on Android and iOS). The app also lets you use your phone as a Wi-Fi remote control.
