The ELAC Solano CC281 is a high-performance 2½-way bass-reflex center-channel speaker crafted to anchor dialogue and effects with clarity and presence. This model features dual 150 mm (≈ 6 in) Aluminum-Sandwich (AS) woofers paired with ELAC’s renowned JET 5 air-motion-transformer tweeter, delivering exceptionally wide bandwidth and fast transient response. Elac+2Acoustic Sound Design+2 Its frequency response spans approximately 34 Hz to 50 kHz, with a sensitivity of 87.5 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and a nominal impedance of 4 Ω (minimum around 3.6 Ω). Recommended amplifier power is about 40-250 W per channel. Elac+2ELAC America+2 Measuring roughly 190 mm high × 500 mm wide × 248 mm deep and weighing about 12 kg, the CC281 is compact enough to install comfortably beneath a display and is available in high-gloss black or white finish.

To match this capability, a new in-house developed proprietary compound curvature aluminum coned woofer is seamlessly blended via a sophisticated multi-element crossover to produce an organic, life-like sound experience.
